The attractive Tyrolean village of Götzens lies on a sunny plateau, about 7 kilometres from Innsbruck. The Götzens-Mutters skiing area, accessed by the Götzens gondola, is located about 500 metres from the village centre. It is also only 10 kilometres to the skiing at neighbouring Axamer Lizum. Götzens can be easily accessed from the motorway, and its proximity to Innsbruck makes for easy travelling arrangements by either bus, train or flight. This plateau offers some lovely winter walking paths which are perfect for afternoon strolls and torchlit evening rambles. Götzens has a disco, an adventure bar, cafes, restaurants, shops, banks and a tourist office.
The 3*s Hotel Edelweiss is located close to the centre of Götzens. It is about 800 metres to the Götzens gondola station and 5 kilometres to the Mutters gondola station. The free ski bus service stops 200 metres from the hotel, by the church.
Hotel Edelweiss has 75 bedrooms and features a reception, lobby area with open fire place and house bar, a la carte restaurant and various dining rooms. There is also an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam-bath and whirlpool.

Fieberbrunn in the Pillersee valley is known for its almost legendary snow guarantee. The extensive ski area between 800 and 2020 metres has pistes for all abilities. Fieberbrunn is especially well-known in snowboarding circles and they are well looked after here. This lively resort offers its guests plenty off the piste too. Dance the night away in the local discos or enjoy a cosy mountain hut evening dining on some local specialities.
4*s Austria Trend Alpine Resort Doischberg is in a wonderfully quiet and sunny position right by the gondola in Fieberbrunn. The resort centre has a good selection of leisure facilties and shops and is ca. 900 m away. There is a ski bus stops beside the hotel and cross-country skiers will find a trail nearby.

The 4* Alpine Resort Schwebebahn has a great position on a sunny plateau above Zell am See, right by the bottom station of the Schmittenhöhe lift. Turn off your car engine on arrival and leave it until it is time to drive home! The busy resort centre of Zell am See, with all its shops, leisure facilities, cafés, bars and restaurants, is ca. 2 kilometres away. There is a ski school and a beginner's lift with nursery slope right by the hotel and the ski bus into town and on to Kaprun is ca. 100 m away
Features: This comfortable hotel has 70 bedrooms. It has a spacious hotel lobby with reception, a lively hotel bar, a fire place with small seating area, a cosy day room and a reading room with an in-house library.
